Zoo New York

The Zoo of New York is the 2nd most visited attraction in New York State's 1000 Islands region. With an emphasis on New York State ecosystems and local animals, the Zoo's animal residents include black bear, eagles, bobcat, and river otters, just to name a few.

The Conservation Building is a family-friendly experience offering visitors the opportunity to learn about the animals in the forest, fire towers, and DEC careers. Families can also enjoy an interactive exhibit featuring animal tracks.

The Children's Farm and Butterfly House offer additional opportunities for learning and interacting with local animals.
